Information on the Medi-Mate 2400
NOTE: Please realize that testing must be performed prior to activation to insure the range and distance of the signal going to your Personal Emergency Response System.
Scenario #1
You are experiencing chest pains. You activate your system and within moments you will be speaking with one of our trained operators. Our operators determine that emergency medical assistance is needed, within moments your local EMS will be entering your home to assist you.
If necessary you would be transported directly to a hospital.
Scenario #2
You have fallen in your kitchen and you can't stand up.You press the Medi-Mate transmitter.
Within moments you hear a trained operator from our call station. You are able to communicate with them and feel that you need an EMS. You can request an EMS and your first available responder will be called to the scene as well.
When you sign up for the Medi-Mate you will be asked to provide a brief list of responders. These are usually friends or family members who have key access to your apartment or home. This group will be responsible for visiting you as quickly as possible
